So I was planning on making a massive post about the night but I figured I may as well do it through an ask.
So, my friend ella and her brother and my eldest sister alma all went to the gig, and we thought that it started at 6:30 but that’s when the doors opened. And so we get there at like 6:15. And we didn’t know which house it was but matt was just like getting something from a car and callum (ella’s brother) was like “hey matt, which house is it?” and so matt was just like “yeah that one” and so we waited for a while outside the door and we were like nah let’s go get some food and then come back. and my sister took forever buying a billion things so when we got there it was like really quite crowded and there were lots of people hanging around matt so we didn’t bother. but after the first support act who was really cheesy but she was okay towards the end, ella and i went up to matt. 

and we went up and i was like ‘hi’ and he said ‘haven’t seen you in a while!’ so he remembered me from when i saw him almost exactly to the day (it’s one year today, not yesterday) one year ago, which was cool. and we just chatted to him and i told him this funny story about one of his friends and it was pretty funny, i’d share the story but ceebs. and then i was like “can i see your tattoo?” and he was like, which one? i’ve got one on my ribs and one on my arm. and i asked to see the one on his arms, and it was a tree. and i was like “what does it symbolize?” and he said: “does it have to symbolize something?” and i was like, well no, but tattoo’s usually do… and he said “i like trees” hahahaha. and then i think we chatted a bit more, it’s a bit blurry, i can’t really remember, and then i was like “can ella get a photo?” and so she did and then we went and sat back down, and then yeah. when he got on stage he was talking about (if you were watching the livestream you’d have heard this) the last time he was in adelaide and he was stuck on the name of the place he was at and i yelled out “the wheatsheaf” and he was like oh yeah and everyone laughed or whatever and he was like “it’s okay, she was there” and then also after the show we went to talk to him, and he was telling a story about how he’s staying at hindley and we were laughing at him so much because hindley is like the most dodgiest street in adelaide and naww he was so cute. andsfgsdjfkhgsldf i love him. now to do it all again tonight <3
